Glide's Side Mount Anti-Theft Kit offers customers added security when mounting products with added theft protection. The brackets are constructed from pre-treated stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection and then powder-coated black. The included fasteners are all made of stainless steel and feature a unique locking key for both securing the lights to the brackets and securing the brackets to the vehicle. The orientation of the bracket can be changed to raise/lower the light by less than 13 mm relative to the vehicle mounting point.

To facilitate the integration of the 20" curved Glide light bar, we are pleased to offer a special license plate mount kit. Compatible only with an above-the-license-plate mount light*, this kit allows for a discreet installation with the brackets barely visible behind and below the light. The two-piece construction (at each end of the light) fits into pre-drilled threaded holes on the bottom of the light for a secure and robust installation. Supplied with A2 stainless steel fixings to secure the brackets to the lamp, the fixing of the mounting plate to the vehicle should be completed using the supplied rivets or thread-cutting screws. For additional security, a special anti-theft kit is available separately.

Canny is a CAN interface developed by Lazer Lamps that enables the installation of auxiliary lights on selected vehicles equipped with a CAN communication system. In these vehicles, it is often not possible to tap into traditional 12V control signals directly from the main headlights, for example. The system consists of the Canny dongle, a matching cable harness, and a special app (CANNY.LZR). Installation can be done either in the engine compartment, for quick and easy installation, or inside the vehicle. Thanks to Bluetooth, synchronization and updates are done wirelessly "over the air," further simplifying and speeding up installation. The dongle is equipped with an automotive-Standard Molex connector, providing a completely waterproof solution according to IP68. Thoughtful design features and the included cable ties facilitate installation. Positioning in the engine compartment is preferred, but depends on the accessibility of the CAN Hi/CAN Lo cables in the vehicle. The connection to the vehicle's CAN lines is made using the included cable harness. The blue (CAN Hi) and yellow (CAN Lo) cables are each equipped with high-quality, waterproof heat-seal crimp connectors. The cable harness also includes a fused positive connection for the battery and a ground cable. Four output cables can be individually programmed to switch various signals such as high beam, Position Light, ignition, reverse gear, etc. The outputs are compatible with Lazer Lamps vehicle cable harnesses (with an output current of >1 amp). Activation, synchronization, and subsequent updates of the Canny dongle are handled via the app. After entering the serial number and the individual PIN code, the user receives access to vehicle-specific installation instructions, can pair the device, and assign and test the desired lighting functions. Later updates, e.g., following changes to the CAN signals by the vehicle manufacturer, can also be conveniently installed via Bluetooth. The Lazer Contactless Reader enables the reading of CAN Hi and CAN Lo vehicle data without a metallic connection between the interface and the vehicle's CAN bus wiring.
