Description

The Linear-18 Elite with Intelligent High Beam Control redefines the performance and functionality of LED auxiliary high beams. It features a combination of highly efficient LEDs, finely tuned light distribution, and the use of photocells integrated into the high beam. When using the low beam, the headlamp switches to High Beam Control mode, which maintains additional illumination in all areas where no oncoming vehicles or obstacles are detected, allowing the driver a smoother transition between high and low beam.

With 48 LEDs producing 18,000 raw lumens, it delivers almost 50% more light than the equivalent light without dimming assist, with exceptional long-distance illumination of 1 lux at 522 m and 64 degrees left/right spread.
In low beam assist mode, the high beam LEDs are deactivated when the high beam is switched off. Low beam assist ensures excellent roadside visibility as the light monitors oncoming traffic and road conditions more than 30 times per second. Continuous recalibration of the sensors ensures the light responds to changing environmental conditions during operation.

A delay in reactivating the high beam assist prevents distracting "flashing" by switching it on and off, and a second switch allows the driver to deactivate the high beam assist when circumstances require.
Certified as a high beam according to ECE Regulation 112, the headlight features double light output boost technology, which allows the light intensity to be increased beyond the limits of ECE Regulation 112 when driving off-road or in countries where it is legally permitted.
