Through continuous improvement and the introduction of the latest and most efficient LED technology, the highly versatile Utility Series sets itself apart from other work light solutions. The product range includes high-performance 45- and 80-watt spotlights, as well as smaller 25- and 45-watt Work Lights that are equally impressive in performance and reliability, but better suited to the needs of 4WD, light commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks.
Each luminaire in the range consists of four high-density LEDs that deliver their light output through a highly reflective, vacuum-metallized optic. This was designed and developed in the UK using advanced CAD design and lighting simulation software. The result: symmetrical light distribution over a wider area provides greater brightness and—because the LEDs are carefully selected for their color temperature—proven maximum clarity with less fatigue and strain that can occur when using higher color ranges.
The light output is even more impressive considering the comparatively small dimensions of the spotlights. The consistently high light output is ensured by an innovative CAE-optimized "matrix" cooling system. The increased surface area ensures that the heat generated during operation is dissipated from the unit more efficiently. This process allows for maximum light output for longer. At the same time, the electronic thermal management system optimizes light output based on the ambient and thermal conditions of the luminaire.
The Utility Series is a product range designed for long life and withstands even the harshest environmental conditions. The hard-coated polycarbonate lens is bonded to ensure water resistance and backs up the comprehensive 5-year warranty*. The luminaires have been extensively tested to meet EU regulations regarding shock, vibration, and corrosion resistance. In addition to the extremely robust construction, the advanced electronic design ensures full EMC protection according to CISPR-25 (Class 3)†.
Featuring Deutsch male/female connectors (Part No. DT06-2S/DT04-2P), the heavy-duty Utility-45/80 are also available with a choice of wide or slim mounts and the option for ADR-compliant versions (UT-45/80 only).
