Introducing AIR – the latest LED lightbar range from Lazer Lamps, specifically designed for the heavy-duty and commercial vehicle market. The AIR-55 with Beacon function offers outstanding value for money – with strong high beam performance and an integrated, UNECE-approved warning light. True to the spirit of the AIR range, every detail has been carefully considered in our in-house UK-based development, engineering, and manufacturing department to create a high-performance LED solution with striking product design – highlighted by a monocoque lens construction and the signature Position Light. As with every Lazer product, light output and build quality are fully guaranteed.
With 6,800 lumens of light output and a 1 lux range of up to 524 meters, the AIR-55 is an extremely powerful LED light bar at an attractive price. The light distribution has been carefully optimized both vertically and horizontally for use on the road, even when mounted higher on the vehicle. The light is approved as a high-beam headlight according to UNECE Regulation 149 thanks to Lazer's dual-output E-Boost technology. This is controlled via a rapid on/off switch (flash-to-dim), allowing the light to be quickly dimmed as needed—for example, when passing traffic signs—or permanently programmed to high or low mode. The low mode meets the requirements of UNECE Regulation 149 for use on public roads.
To further enhance its appeal, the AIR-55 is also available with a Beacon function. This variant is approved according to UNECE Reg65 as a narrow beam warning light with night mode (XA1). Two different amber warning light patterns can be selected and synchronized between multiple lights – directly during installation or via a pulse switch if the flashing pattern needs to be changed later.
In addition to impressive high-beam performance, all AIR products feature an integrated "twin" Position Light in white or amber. In addition to the safety-related benefits, the use of state-of-the-art technology and materials ensures a striking, unmistakable look—both close up and from a distance. The white Position Light complies with UNECE Regulation 148 and is therefore legal for road use. For customers who desire a dynamic start-up sequence or welcome mode, the AIR-55 Beacon can be set to either gradually brighten as the vehicle starts or cycle between white and amber (or vice versa).
The design and build quality of the AIR products are further enhanced by the injection-molded monocoque polycarbonate lens. The "unbreakable" lens is sealed with a hard coating (an example of an upstream production step also performed in-house at Lazer) and extends all the way under the lamp, with a textured surface on the underside. The unique lamp design is further enhanced by the included, innovative "Centre Mount" system, which allows for a particularly low mounting position – for a particularly clean and elegant installation.
